Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and thanks for checking in for my greeting.

As the holidays speed up our lives we sometimes feel a little too stressed with all the running and meeting with friends and family. The holiday parties, company gatherings and such. Then the weather starts to become overbearing as we rush to reach our destinations. Travel gets out right dangerous as we slip and slide our way around to get the shopping finished. And sometimes it becomes more of a hassle than an enjoyment. This is when we need to just stop and breath. Take in the magic of the season by slowing down just a bit, taking it easy and knowing that you will finish all your tasks before the deadline. I sit back and remember all the years I spent doing all of the above and the days now seem more filled with enjoying the magic and the miracles that I see around me each and everyday. There was a time that I didn't see it. Being much too busy in my steadfast journey of getting it all done. One thing I learned through it all was that, in the end, I finished! I did it! And I won!

Now it's more about watching others go through what I had and there is a certain satisfaction in knowing the difference between enjoying and living in the moment opposed to rushing my way through it. I am so grateful for the miracles I see manifesting around me every single moment of the day and all I can say is, "Thank you Lord for allowing this most wonderful opportunity, to live this wonderful and beautiful life and to experience the love that flows around me."

Take time to be "in the moment" and enjoy your lives because they pass you by much to quickly. There is no regaining that moment once it's gone and you need to be present to receive this most beautiful gift. Most of all be grateful for everything in your life. . .

and remember to breath. . . it's God's greatest gift. . .

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for visiting me today. . .blessed be

November Energy

WOW! Talk about the energies of November as Thanksgiving is nearly here and the Full Beaver Moon is on the 21st. Things have really manifested quickly this month and in spite of the few ups and downs, everything is moving along very well, I must say. Leaves are almost off of all the trees and it's beginning to feel more like the winter is upon us.

Sales have been awesome this season and the time for creating in the shortest of days has been a challenge to keep up with the flow. The postal service is working hard and taking too much of my earnings this season as well. December the rates will go up again at which time I will take over a new position at work, more money, more demands on my time as well. It should all be every interesting, too bad I am not able to sit back and watch it from someone elses prospective.

So, let's breath. . . take in a full breath into your belly and hold it. . . exhale and just see the negativity flow away from you. . . another breath. . . hold it. . . and feel yourself starting to relax. Now with each and every breath we become more and more relaxed. . . falling into our safe place where we are able to just sit back and enjoy the moments with spirit. . . cuddling us like children. . . another deep breath. . .hold it. . . exhale and see yourself completely cleansed, relaxed and feel the love that comes through you. At this point imagine yourself where it is you most want to be. Your health, your life, seeing everything just as you want it to be. . . hold that thought and be grateful for everything you do have, no matter how insignificant it may be. . . gratitude. . . gratitude. . . gratitude. . . thank you for all the wonder in my life. . .

I'll leave you with that. Have a most wonderful day, . . . .

Creating from Spirit

Thinking about Thanksgiving and how grateful I am for the abundance that surrounds me. The winds of change are blowing and the leaves are falling from the trees as I sit here and watch out my window. Pretty soon there will be no leaves on the maple trees to block the view of the empty harvested fields. The forest that lays on the other side of the driveway is starting to show more light as well, as the days pass and I can hear them falling there too. What a blessed place I dwell situated back off the country roadway in the quiet of the woods. I search for new ideas for fall festive creations but all I want to do is sit and watch the season change from the warmth of the loft. And so again, I will meditate on what is to come next. . . as spirit guides me to create a seasonal wonder.
The New Moon is in Scorpio which will reveal secrets if you care to know of them. Take in a few minuets to close your eyes you may just find a few of your own lurking about. It's also a very good time to set your intentions of creating some miracles for your own future. Setting some goals before the new year has brought very good results for me in the past. Just sit back and relax, take in a few nice and slow deep breaths and just ask for what it is you want. Be certain though, cause you could get something more than you anticipated.
I'm not manefesting snow but the snowmen are certainly coming out of my head very fast these days along with the santa moons, stars and boots.
You have a most wonderous day. . .
with love and light. . .

Harvest Vacation Tyme

Over the last couple of weeks I have been on vacation from my regular full time job and have had the pleasure of spending some much valued time with my best friend and business partner, Vicki, of Oak Ridge Primitives. Together we laughed until we cried, created some winter artwork and came up with many new ideas to help us build a quality line for this fall and winter. Vicki does the craft faires and markets during the weekends, we still sell most of our fall and winter line on eBay. This business has really meant allot to both of us, not only for the financial aspects of it but because we are able to brainstorm and come up with some really neat stuff. EBay allows us to showcase our creations and sell them all over the world which is something that we find most attractive as artists.

Our logo is "Where hand & Spirit come together" and I really have to say that the creations offered on our site are just that. We were talking just today and she asked me how I did the eyes on "Sonja" the snow flake girl, which I finished this morning. I told her, "You know, sometimes I just don't know how I'm going to do it and I push ideas around as if I'm talking to someone, then I sit down to accomplish it and that's exactly what happens, it gets accomplished, and sometimes I can't even say that I, personally am responsible for it." It's as if there is someone else working with my hands because I really don't know how I would come up with some of these things that I manage to do. And with much joy and gratitude I finish them and take pictures to get them listed on eBay for auction. Creating is truly a gift.

These last two weeks have been a wonderful reminder that "hand and Spirit" do work together and I am so grateful to be the vehicle of expression for spirit to work through. And so before I go back to the daily grind once again, I will finish the rest of my work and list them tomorrow.

On the left hand side of this blog there is a link to Oak Ridge Primitives eBay auction, please take the time to take a look. . .and enjoy our lives with us. . .
