Getting Settled into Burlington

I hope you've been enjoying the relatively nice weather. Wisconsin has been a little cold at night but it sure makes for good sleeping.
Our shop is doing pretty well for the state of this economy and our building sign will be ready soon so Essential Pleasures will soon have it's grand opening, the plans are in the making and will be announced as soon as it arrives. This is like starting all over again.

I moved into town and have been setting up my new apartment in this very old building but it has been a true adventure. I'm looking forward to getting everything complete so that I am able to get my art studio back up and running as I really miss my creative space.
I was forced to take a full time job again and it has been most time consuming after working only three days a week and selling my creations but the future is looking bright. Soon things will start to fall into place and the summer time always brings a newness to my artwork. Being upstairs from the store is a real treat too. It's nice to know I may wonder downstairs and be at the store anytime I care to do so. I have been so blessed with the ability to see my dreams come into view and to be surrounded by some of the most wonderful friends and family any entity could ever ask for.
I have also been studying the effects of dehydration on the human body and the illness it causes. We are much like the planet we live on and require much water to maintain our health and happiness here on earth. Did you know that dehydration is the number one aliment of the human body? The effects of dehydration cause so many ills but the trick is to have properly pH balanced alkaline water with small enough molecules for the body to be able to absorb the water properly. Most of the water we are drinking is dead water. . .so we aren't really getting any benefits from it and We are filling up the dumps with billions of plastic water bottles a year. With all the chemicals to keep down the bacteria in our water supply, our bodies are unable to absorb it to become fully hydrated. Dr's. know that we need more water and tell us to drink it but most of the water available to us in inadequate and is not keeping our dehydration under control. In my next few articles, I will go into this subject in more detail to help educate you on the effects of dehydration, the symptoms, and the deceases that are caused from dehydration. I think it's time we all start looking for ways to cut our health care costs and find ways to get more healthy through natural healing or your doctor will prescribe another medication for you that will just cover the symptoms up and never cure your ills. I am certain that you will enjoy the next few articles on water and learn enough to set you in the right direction.
until then. . .
with love and light

Cranesnest Personal Hexagram:

41: Decrease

Hexagram 41

General Meaning: Increase and decrease are part of the natural cycle of life. As spiritual author long ago put it, 'To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.' Like a reservoir that is being used to irrigate the fields, learning to accept a decrease in position or material possessions is part of preparing for increase in the future.

We may live in materialistic times, but there is no disgrace in material decrease, particularly if it represents an investment in future gain — even if that gain be in the form of one's education or the development of personal character. Likewise, the inner strength that comes from bearing loss can be balanced by a corresponding increase in inner strength and insight — as in the expression 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.' When letting go of attachment and personal demands leads to a greater simplicity in daily life, good fortune often comes calling.

In nature, the lake evaporates to form the clouds that drop the rain that nurtures the surrounding forest. As the forest grows thick, more rain is captured for the lake. Similarly, an 'evaporation' or decrease in one area of your life, may give rise to an eventual increase in another. A loss of responsibility at work can mean more free time; more free time may generate more career options. A period of decrease is not necessarily a bad thing; in fact, it can free the spirit and fill the soul.

Be mindful of the lesson of young lovers: even with a minimum of possessions, feelings of the heart can bring an unsurpassed richness to life. The smallest of actions, if sincere, have value. So remain confident, for a time of decrease may actually bode good fortune, especially if you remain open to that possibility.

Let go of frustration, resistance and regret over whatever may be going down at this time. Accept the cycle, and remember what goes down must come up.

With all the changes going on in my life I understand that this hexagram in particular is most important to me now.

Essential Pleasure Inc. in historic Burlington, WI

In the midst of the Christmas holiday season our dreams have come into full fruition. It looks like our manifesting for a shop, with an awning over the door has now been located in historic Burlington, WI. Wow, I just can not even tell you of the excitement I have on this day, to see the pictures of this shop and know that the miracle of manifestation has come into reality.
Vicki and I have been manifesting for this shop for almost a year. The picture I drew sits on my desk and I look at it everyday. . . Now I am able to look at it in full manifested form and what a magnificent feeling it is. This came about through a wonderful entity called Tamara. She worked as a store clerk in a shop in Antioch, Il. where Vicki sells her soaps and body products. She always wanted a place of her own, as so many of us do, and now the three of us together, will realize our dream. And what a perfect place. It is located at 557 N. Pine St. in historic Burlington, WI. Tamara mixes essential oils and makes her own brand of soap also. So our shop will be a mixture of talents. We are so excited and so blessed to have found each other with this opportunity of bringing our talents together. I can not even tell you what this means to us.
Getting to our shop, it will be a mixture of metaphysical supplies, essential oils and aromatherapy, natural soaps and body products, home goods, antiques, primitive art, candles, room sprays, diffusers and list goes on. There will be something for everyone and maybe even a few consignments like horse hair pottery from a local potter and art from some local artists. What ever we come across will be a real pleasure and total adventure in the making.
A tidbit from Tarot.com address analyzer:

Address: 557
This is a number 8 address.

This address inspires stability, ambition, financial growth, authority and uncompromising drive. This is the ideal location for a single adult or a family with material comfort as a high priority. Status quo and conventional lifestyles. The 8 also inspires strength of character and tends to improve the health of those who live there (strengthens the body). The best possible address for career or business oriented people. Also good for large families.

Strengthen the positive influence of this address with: Strong colors, especially greens and browns. Big furniture; big couches, chairs, side tables, etc. Large windows, open spaces, fire place.

So I will leave you today with the thought of "what are you manifesting in your life lately?" The holidays bring us to the close of one year and into the next chapter of our lives. The year 2009 is to be a transition point for all of us ~ I pray that you all find what you have been searching for. . .
until next time, God bless you,
with love and light. . .
