Time for a Change
Hey Everyone,
I know it's been a really long time since my last post but I have come to a cross roads in the proverbial state of time. . .

I have been crafting primitives, making soap, refinishing vintage wooden bowls and making signs for just about 10 years as Crane's Nest Creations now and I have finally come to the conclusion that for the amount of time and money spent that this just is not working for me

I was working 8 to 10 hours a day, 6 days a week for a couple of years, outside of home and then come home and spend money to craft, something I love to do but the truth of the matter is, I do not enjoy my life. I spend all my time planning and buying supplies and crafting things that just do not yield my worth. People who buy those things just don't seem to value what I do and it leads me to a place of discontent

So I'm listing some organic homemade soaps I made for the gift giving season and will continue with selling farmhouse mercantile type stuff, and creating sometimes when spirit moves me. Maybe I'll make patterns for all the things I make, just a thought as I now I'm working only part time (In burnout and pain from too much work)

So I guess this post serves as my notice that I will no longer be contributing to the Primitive Folk Art homemade market on a regular basis any longer. If you had any interest in what I do in the past, you can go to my ETSY shop and enjoy what I have made for the end of this season

At some point you have to say,( at 64 years of age), I guess it's just time I focus on me for a change

New Moon New Listings

Todays New Moon in Libra is moving us forward and helping us to balance our world. Even though Venus is retrograde this should be a positive period for all of us, looking back and evaluating past & present relationships allowing us to let go and move ahead. Revisiting does holds much reward as we see why relationships fail so we are able to rethink our next relationships. Be a new friend or lover our past holds the keys to our future.

There have been many changes in the ETSY website and I see it no longer supports my mini widgets on my page as far as direct listing access. You can still click on the ETSY words in my columns and it will redirect you to my site.

Tomorrow I  will hit the streets in an effort to find a real job but in the meantime I will craft the hours away providing you with quality primitive decorations for the upcoming holidays

Better Preparedness

Better Preparedness. . .
How will we be better prepared to take care of ourselves in these changing times is a question I keep asking myself

I live and all Organic, Non-GMO lifestyle and avoid chemicals at all costs, to the best of my ability but this lifestyle does not come without much challenge given the amount of toxins in our life, in our food and literally every product we purchase with additives in the food we eat that is commercially produced. From colorants, fragrances, additives to keep shelf life extended, enhance taste etc.

I started a personal war about 8 years ago because like many unsuspecting or undiagnosed celiac patients, I can no longer tolerate chemicals of any kind. (Celiac is caused by chemicals. Your intestinal tract gets inflamed and then builds scar tissue, at which point you don't absorb nutrients from the food you eat any longer. It causes mild to sever abdominal pain and you literally starve to death if you don't change your eating habits & lifestyle). Not in my food, clothing, personal care items, environment, cleaners. EMF signals have also become a distraction in my world as I am sensitive to energy of any kind. Sometimes I have to stop and wonder how others do it. Live with all this stuff, making them sick and they don't even know it's happening to them. They go to the Doctor and get a prescription to cover up their symptoms, so they are not healing, just existing until it all catches up with them. We are being poisoned to death in the US and our government just doesn't seem to care. It's all about the money to them. The FDA supports big business Not our Safety. Grass roots people are the ones, who like myself, strive to make Our America Great Again

People are so oblivious to what is going on around them, I find it so sad. If you are here reading this, I encourage you to take a look around the internet, learn, understand and make the much needed changes for yourself before it's too late.

I will continue to write these kinds of articles and post links to sites for you to visit so you too can empower yourself through learning. Gemini New Moon offers a clear energy road

  June started out with a clearer energy due to the Gemini energy which cleared the mottled energies of May. Even though the feel June is more relaxed and slowed down as we head into a Mercury retrograde there is still work to bet done. Set your intentions for your life filled with joy, love and peace of mind as we move through to the summer solstice on June 21st.

  My life has changed so much in the last year as I focus on the things I cherish, being peace on earth, and even with all the upsets in politics we keep moving forward towards a world peace. We must understand the collective energies that have brought this thus far and continue to see our futures in a state of well being for all of humanity. Of course there are things we can not change but we are headed in the right direction and I'll continue to send love and light to all those places in dire need.
