December 25th 2015 Christmas Full Moon in Cancer and it's happening at 11:11am.
This is the first full moon on Christmas Day for 38 years, the last one was in 1977
As I sit here and chow away at my spoon full of peanut butter dipped into granola, my mind is just racing as I think back to 1977. WOW! What a time that was. My son just started kindergarten in Sept and I was starting a new job in Mt. Prospect, so we had to move as it was too far to travel back and forth to Dundee, since I had no one to care for him after school except our German shepherd, Joe.
I was working as a Rental Consultant for an Apartment complex so an apartment was part of my salary. Moving was a given with this type of job, so onward we went but not for long, I hated living at the end of Ohare Field. The planes looked like they would fly into my front picture window, the power lines hummed outside my back door and the traffic was unreal. This was no place to raise a child that's for sure.
How things just start to flood your mind as you drift back in time. Funny how things are so much more clear to you now, all the learning experiences of the past and how well we maneuver along through our lives. It is amazing how the planetary influences effect our lives, things we don't even notice on a daily basis and how our lives run this parallel course through time, where we keep going in the same circle, learning the lessons over and over until we finally master them, then we can move on to something new. I know this is all about Mercury, Pluto and Uranus which always takes us back to take a look at the life lessons we have past through before we transmute into new dimensional aspects.
Have fun celebrating the Winter Solstice tomorrow and enjoy the Full Cancer Moon on Christmas Day
Many blessings to you this Winter Holiday Season. . .
Santa Stars and snowmen are still available on my ETSY Shop www.Etsy.com/shop/cranesnest
and I will continue to stock snowmen through the winter

Winds of Change are Blowing Again
The winds of change continue to blow. It has been six full months since I left the farm in Bristol Wisconsin. I can not say that it has been a delightful experience in any sense of the word. I miss Wisconsin terribly as living in Illinois is very hard on my eco system, if you are able to understand the flow of energy and how it effects you on a soul level. Each and every day is a challenge with the traffic, noise and feel of the vibrations coming from the earth. I have had a difficult time adjusting to it. My job has been very taxing to say the least, demanding long hard hours at the restaurant, waiting tables, cooking, cleaning attempting to keep up with the flow of business, the menu changes, training of the staff and trying to hire enough people to cover schedules. I have come to the end of this road.
I am taking back my power and how I see myself as a person (or being of light) and not just a manager for a company that only cares about the bottom line so that the corporate people can live their lives while I continue to sacrifice mine. I am ecstatic to announce it is Officially Over. I Quit!
I have accepted a position with the Bristol Renaissance Fair, working part time in the office and I will continue to sell leather masks & magical wands at Eyes in Disguise, during the season of fair which opens on July 12th, the week end after 4th of July.
I have been gifted with the ability to manifest things pretty quickly (except for the winning lottery numbers that is) and have seen things I only thought about days prior come into full fruitarian of physical form right in front of me. Everything falling into place so that I may live the life I had only dreamed for, which is to work the Bristol Faire and afford to spend my time being a primitive artist, learning to live a vegan & holistic lifestyle, making healthy all natural soaps and helping others on their journey through this maze of negativity. I keep reminding myself that I must be very careful what I think about as Thoughts Do Become Things. I trust that I have been placed here for a very good reason and even though I had the opportunity to move to a beautiful apartment that I had the pleasure of viewing just after I moved in December, I passed it up as it appears that the planets were in alignment for me to go forward with my dream.
So here I stand, feeling as though I am ready to take flight off the end of a cliff, trusting that I will not fall. That things will come to pass as I see myself being a successful artist and living my life out in joy filled with grace and ease. Enjoying what I love most, the Bristol Faire & Primitive art. So I quit my job and I am beginning this fabulous journey that I intend on sharing with you along the way and joining my best friend Vicki @ Oakridge Primitives once again
Many blessings to you. . .
Oh yeah, I would still love to be a Philanthropist in the near future, which has always been my ultimate dream. . .LOL
till next time

Published in the May 2014 Prims Magazine
DO I have to tell you that I am totally delighted to have been published this month
May 2014 Edition of Prim Magazine.
Oh my goodness!
I am thrilled to tears and just so honored for the invitation and publication of my work
I have been creating characters for many years, that which I sell either at craft shows, on my ETSY shop, Cranes Nest Creations and also seasonally on ebay.
I love Prim Magazine and have paged through this publication so many times in the past issues, excited for these artists, admiring their work and wondering if I could ever become good enough to be published.
You know how you just feel that you could never become as good as those artists that you see in magazines. I fear we all harbor too much insecurity! Until that one foggy day that I received an email invitation to submit my Uncle Sam Crow Knodder to the magazine for publication..
I had no idea what this entailed so called my Dear friend and asked her if she knew anything about this and to lend me some advise. She warned me of some scams that she had received of late so of course I took her advise and filed the email. A few weeks had past and I received yet another email, guiding me to submit this piece for publication again, so I started to do some homework on the issue.
After communicating with the publisher, who was very kind and most helpful in guiding me through the process of submission I sent off the requested piece and documents along with the return postage as they would return the piece to me.
Do I have to tell you what a wonderful day that was? Me, of all people I thought! Someone who creates because I love to be in that place of total absorption, Me, who thinks everyone else's work is so beautiful! Me who doesn't give myself the credit I deserve, even though I sure sell a pant load of stuff during the fall and winter months on ebay and my feedback is outstanding. Maybe it's just that I have been creating for so long that I have become numb to the compliments from all those wonderful people whom I assume are just being ever so kind.
What ever the reason that things unfold and happen in their own divine timing, I am most grateful and hold much appreciation for what I love to do in my spare time. It is truly a gift and I am so blessed
I thank you Prim Magazine for the opportunity to be published and to the wonderful editor that guided me like a guardian angel through the process.
I hope you get a chance to pick up a copy as there are many lovely creatures in the pages of this Americana addition of Prims Magazine. The link on the left side will take you to Stampington & Company so you may order a copy or enjoy their many other publications.
for now, many blessings and enjoy. . .

January Chill -2
The January chill continues here in southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois but at least we have not had the amount of snowfall that Indiana and Michigan are up against. The temperatures are below 0 and I'm afraid my creativity is frozen along with it. I have dreamy images of lemon/poppy seed soap floating through my head along with some bunny dolls but it is hard to get moving in this cold weather. I am hoping that the new moon on January 31st begins a new in all aspects of creativity and motivation alike.
It's almost February and the hearts are starting to fill the store shelves in the local area shopping plazas. Love is in the air but I'm dreaming of bunnies and eggs already. Too funny how some things keep passing by. . . so we'll have to see what becomes of it in the Prim Community as spring gets a little closer everyday.
I'm working on manifesting some warmth for us all . .
For now stay warm and out of the elements unless you must travel
till next time
many blessings. . . .

Full Moon in Capricorn
So, here we are half way through the summer of 2013 and Mercury finally went direct yesterday. I could feel the pulling of the forward motion and started sewing and drawing and sorting the things I will need to start creating wares for my most favorite time of year. The Fall Equinox, and All Hallows Eve. As the little fae & witches dance through my psyche I become enthralled in joy & laughter as the ritual of craft becomes me. Oh how I love to create. . . The Witches Wardrobe has been part of me since I started in primitive artistry, the Halloween Enchanted pumpkins, little fae of Witch Upon a Star whom dance upon their rusty bed springs, the Halloween can-dles, witch moons on textile bobbins.. I'll be doing some beeswax works this year as well. Then their are a version of my French bed dolls all dressed up in witchery dragg and named the Witchman family. For craft fairs I do Witchy Froggettes, Mice all dressed up in witches clothing and this year I am going to try to get to Witchy Bunne' Haunted Spell books are a real love of mine and I have some new glass eyes to use on them.So if you are a Halloween lover stay tuned for the array of things I create and sell on both ebay and my etsy shop. I am featuring Flight Soap this year so watch for this magnificent concoction to release the issues of Halloween Night Flight, pain relieving soaps. Oh what fun. . . ♥
I can't wait to post my final work for everyone to enjoy. I will also put it on Pinterest as well. . . so watch out for the gouls of plenty, Oh what fun ♥ ♥ ♥
many blessings to each and everyone. . . remember to stay in the moment and think only good thoughts for this is the year of living in joy. . .
