The year is almost over and today is the full moon so remember to lite some candles, sit down in a comfortable place, close your eyes and allow your self to relax. Set your intentions on the things you want to leave your life now. Abolish the negative energies that have been surrounding you, or put something into your past where it belongs so that you are able to start the new year fresh, leaving behind all the things you do not care to bring into 2015.
A little advise on manifesting. . . move your self from wanting and move your wants into the present tense where you are grateful for the new house you have your eye on, see and feel yourself driving that new car, tell yourself you are independently wealthy. Leave yourself room to receive and feel the joy and gratitude of having your dreams come true.
until next time, many blessings

January Chill -2
The January chill continues here in southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois but at least we have not had the amount of snowfall that Indiana and Michigan are up against. The temperatures are below 0 and I'm afraid my creativity is frozen along with it. I have dreamy images of lemon/poppy seed soap floating through my head along with some bunny dolls but it is hard to get moving in this cold weather. I am hoping that the new moon on January 31st begins a new in all aspects of creativity and motivation alike.
It's almost February and the hearts are starting to fill the store shelves in the local area shopping plazas. Love is in the air but I'm dreaming of bunnies and eggs already. Too funny how some things keep passing by. . . so we'll have to see what becomes of it in the Prim Community as spring gets a little closer everyday.
I'm working on manifesting some warmth for us all . .
For now stay warm and out of the elements unless you must travel
till next time

Decembers New Moon
Decembers New Moon has brought about more change
but somehow I feel so stuck.
Attempting to get my self packed
and leave this most wonderful place
I have been dwelling for
the past four years. I am not ready
for this at all and I only
have another 10 days to pull this off.
On a lighter note, Publishers Clearing House called today to verify my entry in the sweepstakes and so maybe I am getting closer to winning the dream of my life, LOL. Stampington & Company also contacted me with an interest in publishing some of my art pieces in Prims Magazine. I'm thrilled to be published in my favorite magazine amongst some of the best Primitive Artists that I so admire. I guess all in all you just have to count the blessings and leave the negative aspects behind like dust in the wind. I am most grateful for the opportunities ahead of me now.
The December Full Moon is the day of the move and I hope that I will leave all the negativity of this year behind me now. I lovingly look forward to the New Year, 2014 with much openness to the changes ahead of me.
Many blessing to all through this Holiday Season, I regret that I will miss yet another crafting season of making & selling but everything happens for a reason right? And in that I shall not dwell. I'll be strong and move forward with new eyes to see what the future should hold for me.
Till next time. . .

Junes Super Full Moon follows the Summer Solstice 2013
Welcome again to my blog. . .
As the months fly by June is in full swing and the Summer Solstice is just around the bend. As the weather starts to heat up the activities become a little more than difficult for me as heat is not my best friend these days. We have had a easy spring as far as weather goes but now the thunder storms and rains have brought much discomfort to the northern mid west states. Thunder storms leave high humidity in the forests and it becomes a steam bath of sorts. We have had a most pleasant northern breeze which brings a moist coolness to the shade so it's not at it's hottest temperatures as of yet. One thing it does bring is the Summer Solstice on June 21st and the Super Full Moon there after on June 22-23rd.
The Full moon falls on June 23, 2013 at 11:32 UTC (6:32 a.m. CDT in the U.S.). Thus, for many, the moon appears about as full in the June 22 evening sky as it does on the evening of June 23. This full moon is not only the closest and largest full moon of the year. It also presents the moon’s closest encounter with Earth for all of 2013. The moon will not be so close again until August, 2014
Astronomers call this sort of close full moon a perigee full moon. The word perigee describes the moon’s closest point to Earth for a given month. Two years ago, when the closest and largest full moon fell on March 19, 2011, many used a term we’d never heard before: supermoon. Last year, we heard this term again to describe the year’s closest full moon on May 6, 2012. Now the term supermoon is being used a lot. Last month’s full moon – May 24-25, 2013 – was also a supermoon. But the June full moon is even more super! In other words, the time of full moon falls even closer to the time of perigee, the moon’s closest point to Earth. The crest of the moon’s full phase in June 2013, and perigee, fall within an hour of each other.
This is a time of year to set your intentions of the things you want to pass and bring in the newness of your desires. I have started on a old/new as well. I have been joining Jennifer Hoffman in Raising our Vibes with 21 days of Vibrational Transformation and I also started a new program with Burt Goldman in Quantum Jumping II. I'm am getting huge results from both programs and well on my way for setting new goals in my life. This is my year to move forward and become the best that I can be in all areas of my life. Now if I could figure out what I want to be when I grow up, it would all be great. I know I'll get there. . . and I'll keep you informed as well. . .
In the mean time my work as a restaurant manager and primitive artist keep me busy making, inventing, using my creativity to share wonderful things with you so I hope you
have a most wonderful day and enjoy the solstice and supermoon,

Political Mess
It's sure going to interesting come March 1st, when all the budget cuts go into effect. How will our nations tax payers handle the cuts? The trickle effect is going to be massive.
I have my own personal ideas how this is going to effect us but one thing is for certain, it will definitely be a test of our faith in our government and the corporate conglomerates we work for.
I for one am not looking forward the mayhem and I'm sure anyone reading this blog feels the same.
One things for sure for me, I am not going to allow fear to take over my life and I will joyfully continue to work and enjoy the countryside in which I am situated. Taking in the fresh air and natural energy of this wonderful planet, we will will get through it as long as we don't feed into it. Stay possitive and focused on self, knowing that we are all here in the right place at the right time as we all share to convert all this negitive energy and to close these negitive vortexes in time and space.
With that I bid you, Good Day! in the happiness of your most wonderful life. . .

Thanksgiving is Almost Sold Out, Here comes Santa
I have to say it has been a most interesting journey of late. With the full moon and 11-11-11 transforming the energies of the planet and everyone on it.
Just when you thought you knew what was down the road, oops, one more flat tire. That's what my life has been like the past couple of weeks. No Wait, I'm not saying it's a bad thing as I am well versed in the fact that change is good and that everything happens for a reason. It's just when it all happens at once that you really must stop and take into account, "What have I been thinking?" When you start to look around you and none of the faces of the people you have grown to love and trust, have all of a sudden changed and you start to see them in their true light. It's not a pretty picture when you find yourself surrounded by thieves and lairs, people who have done they're best to take advantage of you when you thought you had nothing left to take. It makes you start to believe in shape shifting.
I'm keeping my head up and moving forward and with each and every minuet I will find the love and happiness that I truly have spent my life earning. As I move away from the past that does not serve me into a heightened awareness of being I know that at the end of the day I will have learned at least 3 new things and even considered 7 Impossible things before breakfast. As I continue down this road, finding new things to learn, people to love and some wonderful art work that spirit has been hiding from me, I plan to create it all over again. I know better than that. I create from spirit and I'm always grateful for the beautiful gifts I receive (even if they do turn out to be a joke).
Enough of the tangent. . .just know that thoughts do become things, so always think the very best ones. It will be your life in the next instant. Merry Holidays. . . a toast to the best year any primitive artist can have. Success to us all. . .blessed be!

Spring into April
Spring has arrived and what a blessing it is. So much negativity has been lifted since this last new moon and I can hear my name being called on the winds that blow across the land. Life is hectic with the moon in Aries but how sweet it is as there is much to accomplish as I work my way through the day.
Have you signed up for the 30days to to Miracles class? It is offered by Jennifer Hoffman at www.UrielHeals.com and helps you to come to terms with who you are and helps you to manifest the future. We live what we dwell on, you know, Thoughts become things. . .
As you place yourself in the mental picture of where you really want to be. . . go for it. Nothing is stopping you and once you understand that you are a being of light having a human experience, your whole outlook changes. And with that so does your world around you. Be careful what you wish for. . . it doesn't always show up as you expected it to. Put your wants in front of you and let the "how's" go. Soon you will find that everything is coming into alignment moving you forward. . . have a safe trip
until next time. . . with love and light, blessed be

Summer Solstice, June 21st

Traditionally, Summer Solstice is celebrated at noon when the sun stands directly overhead and the full force of solar energy can be felt and drawn upon in ritual. One stands beneath the sun, for a while, absorbing the light and heat, and establishing a connection which can be drawn upon in rites later that night.
This is a time of purifying, of cutting through obstacles and drawing on the dynamic power of the God principle to manifest your own power. Lift up your hearts in celebration of the fertility and wonder of life and remember to give thanks for that which has been manifested for you since the last Sabbat.
Many traditions throughout time have celebrated the Solstices, from the times of the ancient and the indigenous people to present day. Bonfires are set on hilltops. People dance around the fires. In many places, after the fire has died away and only the hot coals are remaining, children will be lifted across the coals to be blessed and cleansed by the smoke.
The Summer Solstice is a time to be happy. It is a time to remove unwanted things from your life. It is a time to dance and sing and spread joy and be filled with love.

Celtic Celebrations
In the Celtic countries of Northern Europe the Solar Lord fulfilled the same function and in modern times, wiccans and pagans still honor the Lord of Light, invoking him to "put to flight the powers of darkness" and bring fertility and abundance back to the land and the people. This celebration is a joyous celebration, but at the very height of the Sun's power we also encounter the truth that whatsoever rises must also fall and so from this high point in the solar cycle, the days will begin to grow shorter and the nights longer.
In Britain this theme of transformation from one thing to another was reflected in the story of the Oak King, god of the waxing year and the Holly King, his twin, god of the waning year. It was at this time that the Oak King fell and the Holly King began his reign which would lead inevitably to the darkness of winter and the longest night of the year at the Winter Solstice at which point the Oak King would return. It was said that at the Summer Solstice the Oak King withdrew to the realm of the circumpolar stars, known to the Greeks as the Corona Borealis, to the Egyptians as ik-hem-sek, 'not-knowing-destruction,' and to the Celts as Caer Arianrhod. This region of the stars never disappears below the horizon, not even at the time of Midwinter.
In Ireland music, dancing and story telling were all part of the Solstice celebrations. Before the celebrations could begin, prayers were recited while walking around the bonfire. Herbs gathered on the eve of Summer Solstice were most often used for medicinal purposes. Others were used for rites and divination. St. John¹s Wort, Elderberries, Yarrow and Vervain were a few that were used. Hazel branches were cut on Solstice eve and used to look for gold, water, and precious jewels. In order for this to work the branches had to be cut between 12 and 1:00 am.
Midsummer, if it is previously specified, may refer to the period of time centered upon the summer solstice and the diverse celebrations of it around the world. However, the English term refers mostly to European celebrations that accompany the summer solstice, or to Western festivals that take place in June and are related to Saint John the Baptist. European midsummer-related holidays, traditions and celebrations, many of which are non-Christian in origin (although they are also called "St John's festivities"), are particularly important in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Estonia, but found also in France, Italy, Portugal, in other parts of Europe and elsewhere (US, Canada, and even in the Southern Hemisphere (Brazil), where this European-born celebration should be more appropriately called Midwinter). Midsummer is also sometimes referred to as Litha; stemming from Bede's De temporum ratione in which he gave the Anglo-Saxon names for the months roughly corresponding to June and July.
Solstitial celebrations still centre upon 24 June, which is no longer the longest day of the year. The difference between the Julian calendar year (365.2500 days) and the tropical year (365.2422 days) moved the day associated with the actual astronomical solstice forward approximately three days every four centuries until Pope Gregory XIII changed the calendar bringing the solstice to around 21 June. In the Gregorian calendar, the solstice moves around a bit but in the long term it moves only about one day in 3000 years.
History
In the 7th century, Saint Eligius (died 659/60) warned the recently-Christianized inhabitants of Flanders against these pagan solstitial celebrations. According to the Vita by his companion Ouen, he would say:
"No Christian on the feast of Saint John or the solemnity of any other saint performs solestitia [summer solstice rites] or dancing or leaping or diabolical chants."
Indeed, as Saint Eligius demonstrates, Mid-Summer has been Christianized as the feast of Saint John the Baptist: notably, unlike all other saints' days, this feast is celebrated on his birthday and not on the day of his martyrdom, which is separately observed as the "Decollation of John the Baptist" on 29 August. That more conventional day of Saint John the Baptist is not marked by Christian churches with the emphasis one might otherwise expect of such an important saint.
As for his solsticial birthday, the Roman Catholic Church celebrates the Nativity of John the Baptist (June 24) as a Solemnity, which is the highest degree a liturgical feast can have. It is even one of the few saint's feasts that is celebrated even when it falls on a Sunday; typically the feast of a saint is superseded when it falls on a Sunday. There is hardly any way that the feast of St John the Baptist could be given more emphasis in the liturgical calendar.
The celebration of Midsummer's Eve was from ancient times linked to the summer solstice. People believed that mid-summer plants had miraculous and healing powers and they therefore picked them on this night. Bonfires were lit to protect against evil spirits which were believed to roam freely when the sun was turning southwards again. In later years, witches were also thought to be on their way to meetings with other evil powers.
In Sweden Mid-summer celebration originates from the time before Christianity; it was celebrated as a sacrifice time in the sign of the fertility.
The solstice itself has remained a special moment of the annual cycle of the year since Neolithic times. The concentration of the observance is not on the day as we reckon it, commencing at midnight or at dawn, but the pre-Christian beginning of the day, which falls on the previous eve. In Sweden, Finland and Estonia, Midsummer's Eve is considered the greatest festival of the year, comparable only with Walpurgis Night, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.
