Cranesnest is creating for Oakridgeprims on Ebay
Wow, it's been quite the adventure creating for Oakridgeprims on Ebay.
Sales have been awesome and the time is just slipping by in my attempt to keep up with the demand. In years prior there was such an huge variety on Ebay and looks to me that many of the artists have taken their business elsewhere. The volume of primitive craft is not there anymore, they have gone off into other ways of selling and the auctions are not what they used to be. I really can't complain though, sales have been very good for us at Oakridgeprims and it's been so much fun.
I am looking forward to the quiet time after the holidays and the inauguration is done with, and the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season will come to a close. I will then get back into the meditation series that I love to run in my blog and find some interesting ways to help you to come back to spirit. Which is really what keeps me doing the artsy stuff as I do believe that it comes from spirit and I know a peacefulness there that I don't reach anywhere else in my life.
Tomorrow, Thanksgiving is the new moon and I am so excited to see what this next 13 year cycle will bring about. It will be a day of family gatherings, and a much opinionated one, so watch out what you wish for, as your thoughts become things.
Have a most Happy Thanksgiving, since we all have so much to be thankful for. . .

Oakridge Prims on ebay
Well, I have to say. . .
Oakridge Prims on ebay is doing an out standing job at turning sales with much positive feedback. There is such a fast turn over in items that it is a challenge to stay on top of creating and listing. I have been totally consumed with the flow and sales on this venture and have to admit, the ebay bug is fun. To sit and watch the watchers add up and the bidding wars on Sunday afternoons, it's like the best game ever. Then to list all the new items on Sunday after the bidding stops, shipping on Monday , working on all the new projects for your next Sunday listings and zoom the week is gone again. What fun. . . this is the latest in Primitive Prairie dresses I created this week. They just fly off the shelves, We can't make them fast enough and poof they are gone.
Take a look at some of the uniquie items in my slide show above that have been created and sold, so fast sometimes it makes your head spin. With fun stocking stuffers like Homespun Rock Christmas Candy to the santa and snowman cupboard dolls. It's so much fun.
Here's to another great week. . .

Today's Full Beaver Moon
Just a quick tid bit on why todays full moon is called the beaver moon. It is the mark of the freeze. The Algonquin Indians would hunt beaver on this full moon to insure that they had warm furs for the winter months.
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bee's No fruit, no flowers, no leaves, no bird's!. . . No. . vember

Reality Check
Well, it's over. . . the election that is. And I truly think we can all look forward to things starting to move ahead instead of the standstill we have been at for the last 8 years. With an all new administration, I feel that the economy among other things is about to turn around. Obama certainly has his work cut out for him.
Speaking of work, Wow Oakridge Prims on ebay has really been keeping Vicki and I jumping this last month. We keep listing and selling and making more and listing and selling. Sundays have been a frenzy of getting things listed and watching the page go green again. It has been really awesome and we thank each and everyone of you that has brought that about for us. I haven't worked this hard since Thanksgiving at Bakers Square. (yuk!) It's been a real inspiration and just goes to show you that when enough people believe in a positive notation that anything cane turn around.(pictured above is one of my most recent creations)
With that in mind, have you done any meditating on where you would like to see yourself 5 years from now? I think we should just all close our eyes for 5 minuets and give thanks to the universe for this positive change and embrace the future with a new found enlightenment. Not only on a nations standpoint but as individuals and start to bring the healing of ourselves and our planet forward. To become one as was always intended in the eyes of God. Start your day and end your nights giving thanks and feeling the gratitude for all the wonderful blessings in our lives
