August at Bristol Ren Faire

Oh. . . Bristol Renaissance Faire, how I love thee. . .

The patrons., the actors, the friends that are like extended family and of course, with all it's fantasy, the love that fills the air as the gates begin to open and the floods of people come rushing in for a true adventure. To step back in time and be entertained by the antics, acts and wonderful shops that makes Bristol one of the best faires in the circuit.
Settled in the woods on the Wisconsin/Illinois boarder the grounds are so magical in them selves. I've seen times when it rained all around us and still the sun was shining and grounds were dry as everyone enjoyed the pleasures of the faire.

I love this faire. . . it is such a healing place to be. And I am not alone with this feeling. As you sit back and watch the people meander through the grounds, they are filled with an enchantment like no other place in the world. Everyone is connected in the fantasy of days of long ago. In the past but present, they smile and feel the rush that spirit sends through you when everything strange is so familiar to you and you smile and relax and go with the flow of the time and place. As the passion builds inside of you, you become who you were, who you truly are and it's nothing short of magnificent.
Even though I moved away from Bristol, I long to visit the faire and the many wonderful people who go to work there.

Hope to see you there sometime. . .

Yule Tide Blessings

Ahhh, it's almost that time again. . . break out the Yule log, light your candles, put up the tree and get ready to sit in the gathering room with friends and family.
Pretty soon the snow will start to fall and blanket the earth to protect nature from the harshness of winter. And as we hunker down for the winter solstice we'll have time to reflect on all those holidays gone by that held all the magic of the season.
The Santa Moon's are ready to roll and the candles are nearly all poured. For me Christmas is a time to be spent getting ready until the time runs out. That's when I'll sit back and enjoy the present. In the moment, as the magic of the day unfolds like a well written script, I'll play my role and cherish the time as the new memories are manifested and become reality. Everything I have worked for will come full circle as does the circle of the year and I'll enjoy every single smidgen of it. Enjoying the love, the laughter and healing.

Speaking of healing. . .I have become obsessed with making the chakra pyramid candle series again this year.
This Root Chakra candle is not complete yet but this is the base product of what it will look like. It will be topped with a snow cap for the season and tucked inside this candle is a Tibetan Crystal, which after the candle has burned down, the buyer will have the blessed crystal to carry and use as grounding energy.
Chakra Pyramid candles are a 7 candle series which include Chakra Meditations and a full color booklet, which explains each of the seven chakras, where they are located, what energy they rule and all the pertinent properties of each chakra.
Since winter is long, we have plenty of time to meditate to clear our chakras and heal our selves.

For now, enjoy the holiday season. . .I should get back to work, many Santa's to finish and candles to pour.

many blessings. . .
