Almost Sweet September! My favorite time of the years wheel. When the sweet smells of the harvest start to fill the air and fall, in all it's magnificence, is just around the bend. When everything begins to change. The colors of the leaves, the mornings covered in dew, even the grass smells so sweet this time of year. Of course it all shows in the festivals that start to display the difference in colors from the rich greens and that of the flowers, to the dusty browns, oranges, spicy reds and yellows and grungy blacks. If I could live the colors of my life it would defiantly be the fall of the year. Ooo the sweet smell of cinnamon and pumpkin spice, apples galore. . .
The Bristol Renaissance Faire will come to a close next week end with the Labor Day Celebration so it will be yet another chapter completed. They will move into their 25th year as the "Bristol" Faire, so next summer should be one 9 week celebration in itself. How exciting!
As for me, the new moon takes me back, to the artistry that fills my head and busies my hands, keeping me in the moment as the next one unfolds. I will start to list those treasures on ebay by next week. . .
