Twists and Turns

Ahh, Life does take it's twists and turns doesn't it.
As the New Moon brings to us the newness of life in itself and a time to reflect yet again the twists and turns of our lives. As we sit back and watch as the end of an era has passed before us and people have gone other places or home to God we look around in the wonder of what this new year will actually bring forth as it begins to unfold. For me it has been a huge transformation both spiritually and emotionally as I let go completely of the past and move into the unknown future. I have no expectations of what this life will deal me in my next hand, only knowing and trusting that the future is a journey I am looking forward to. As we go and grow through our transitions in this life time we are able to look back with a positive knowing, that the learning in the past has brought us through to this place we find ourselves, in the now.
A new president with a totally different outlook on how this country should be run, a more accepting of spiritual interests has made it's way to the surface in our culture and a time of self. To focus our interests on what makes us the person we are and the direction we want to go in, in our lives. We are spiritual beings of light having a human experience, I truly believe that with all my heart. Grounded in my heart chakra there is a love for all mankind, no matter what they present themselves to be, I still see them as they are, wonderful expresions of life, as they live on to light the way for anothers healing, the journey goes on.
So I leave you today with the thought. . .knowing that you are spirit, and are capable of doing or being anything that you could imagine, who are you. . . look deep within your soul. . .

The Vernal (Spring) Equinox

The spring equinox is one of the four great solar festivals of the year. Day and night are equal, poised and balanced, but about to tip over on the side of light. The spring equinox is sacred to dawn, youth, the morning star and the east. The Saxon goddess, Eostre (from whose name we get the direction East and the holiday Easter) is a dawn goddess, like Aurora and Eos. Just as the dawn is the time of new light, so the vernal equinox is the time of new life. The New Year In many traditions, this is the start of the new year. The Roman year began on the ides of March (15th). The astrological year begins on the equinox when the moon moves into the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries, the Ram. The Greek God Ares is equivalent to the Roman Mars for whom the month of March is named. Between the 12th century and 1752, March 25th was the day the year changed in England and Ireland. March 25, 1212 was the day after March 24, 1211. The Coming of the Spring Although we saw the first promise of spring at Candlemas in the swelling buds, there were still nights of frost and darkness ahead. Now spring is manifest. Demeter is reunited with her daughter, Kore (the essence of spring), who has been in the Underworld for six months and the earth once again teems with life. The month of March contains holidays dedicated to all the great mother goddesses: Astarte, Isis, Aprhrodite, Cybele and the Virgin Mary. The goddess shows herself in the blossoms, the leaves on the trees, the sprouting of the crops, the mating of birds, the birth of young animals. In the agricultural cycle, it is time for planting. We are assured that life will continue.

Our Process of Energy

How are you processing energy these days?
Many people around me, including myself have been having a hard time with the processing of energy as of late. This energy effects us in a number of ways. . .

• feeling overwhelmingly tired
• Headaches and muscle aches
• confused or angry feelings that are inappropriate to the situation at hand
• sick to your stomach or spastic colon
  
• General fatigue and/or feeling helpless in helping others around you

Some of us are experiencing many negative aspects as the vibration of past karma is being released from us and our worlds are being turned up side down in preparation of the future energies coming to us.

As we enter and pass through this current shift, which will be magnified with the Spring Equinox on March 20th, letting go of the fear is the most important part of this transition. Let go and allow Source to bring you through this ever so tough transition into the higher vibration of healing which you deserve after this long haul of near torment. Seek to find source within you and allow yourself to let go of the past, the karma and the short comings of others. Know that you are moving toward the vibration you seek and understand that you will no longer have to process the old energy much longer as you move to a higher place where the love of source will guide you past the polarity of this shift in consciousness.
