October 18, 2013 next Full Moon in Aries

Our Full Moon falls on October 18th this year so it will not be a well lite Halloween night since we will be at the waning crescent at that time. All in all I am certain the festivities will still be wonderful for a the young at heart.  So make sure you buy extra glow sticks and light up your children really well.
As for me I will be working on Thanksgiving dress' to sell on ETSY and EBAY. The winter crafts for Christmas, Yule and the winter solstice are starting here at Cranesnest Primitive Hallow since I missed Halloween but I miss Halloween all year long so it will just have to be another 10 months before I get there again.
No time for crying over spilt milk if you get the pun but I am moving forward with a very positive attitude toward the changes in my life that are facing me now. Forward bound into the abyss of creativity, hopefully to never return to reality ever again.
The soap is CPOP (cold process oven process) and is Candula/Ylang Ylang with charcoal. It will be ready to use by Halloween, I can't wait to bathe in it. So I've been busy getting ready to bring in possibly the best year of my life since I can not remember when

5th Chakra, Throat Chakra, Clearing and Meditation, yoga

We are moving right along and it is already the 5th day of Chakra Clearing
Meditations,The 5th is The Throat Chakra,The Throat Chakra's sound is
 "Ee" and the color is turquoise. It's all about Expression and Communication.
The 5th Chakra is associated with sound and has to do with creative self expression, speech, honesty; to receive, process and assimilate information and to connect with and speak our inner truth all relate to the fifth chakra, the center of transformation and change. Element; ether, location; throat, neck, Associated body parts; throat, neck, ears, jaw, mouth, teeth, gums, tongue and thyroid gland. Basic issues; communication, creativity, expression, humility and manifesting ideas, Gemstones & Crystals; aquamarine, blue opal, carnelian Flower essences; cosmos, larkspur and larch, Essential oils; chamomile, Orange, rosemary and Eucalyptus,
Food; fruits (blueberries and blackberries)

Major issues of an unbalanced Throat Chakra are a lack of expression, an inability to express oneself, a feeling to stagnation, an inability to communicate and holding on to unexpressed anger. We may feel a sense of not being heard or an inability to make ourselves heard, as well as a failure to find the right words or a fear of speaking

Signs of an unbalanced fifth chakra;

• Emotional or mental issues; frustration, timidity, dishonesty, criticism of self or others, low self esteem, excessive talking, inability to verbalize, shyness, being overly opinionated
• Physical issues; sore throat, laryngitis, upper respiratory illnesses, dental problems, teeth grinding and TMJ (tempo-mandibular joint) problems, skin irritations, ear infections, inflammations, hyperthyroidism, stiff neck, shoulder pain, stuttering, attention disorders
• Common addictions; smoking, inhalants, exercise high

When the throat chakra is balanced, we are able to speak our truth, in the supreme sense. We feel balanced and centered, creatively inspired and able to express ourselves appropriately

A balanced throat chakra brings;

• an ability to communicate verbally, in writing, or creatively
• confidence in our beliefs and our ability to express them
• the capacity to listen and truly hear
• a respect for the power and impact of language

Beneficial activities that promote and maintain a well balance 5th chakra are; singing, chanting, reciting poetry, keeping a journal, painting, dancing and drumming

Now, let us start our yoga exercise with the grounding meditation from the other lessons. . . after completion let's do a Chin Press Breath

• Sit with the spine completely extended. Eyes closed
• Inhale and exhale completely. Inhale through the nose to the slow count of  7 seconds
• Life your breastbone and press your chin to your chest and exhale through the nose for 7 seconds
• Repeat this movement several times in coordination with the breath
• Visualize cleansing turquoise energy opening the gateway to true communication
• Continue for one to three minuets

                I am able to hear the voice of my soul

• stretches the muscles at the back of the neck
• improves willpower and concentration
• promotes a sense of inner peace

December is closing fast. . .

December is here and the selling season for Ebay is nearly at it's seasonal end.
The Yule tree has been decorated for the celebration, as the wheel of the year turns and the solstice will soon begin.

This month always brings me to the shutting down of my creative persecutes with anticipation of the "New Year, New Start" mentality as it seems. And as I sit back with a book in my comfy chair, tending the fire that burns in the fireplace, watching flames dance, as if in their own sort of celebration, across the logs, I dream of the many things I drew out in my tablet but never had time to either finish or start to create, I am always reminded of how time flies past when you are forced to sell yourself for an hourly wage to keep above the fast moving waters that rush our lives along.

Pretty soon I will endure, yet another birthday and I really have to wonder where this river of motion is taking me. I enjoy my life and the ability I have to not only be successful in my work but to create my primitive artistry which supplements my income, or at least pays for all the junk I purchase to afford to craft my days away. And then I have to wonder. . . What! Is the question? As I look back through my picture albums of the things spirit has guided me to create, I am filled with a child like wonder...it's one of gratitude and unconditional love for the forces that push me along this path, being ever so grateful for sooo many wonderful things in my life. I soulfully appreciate every healthy day I spend, mindlessly crafting, staying in the present and loving the gifts of this life.

So as I anticipate another year of learning, growing and expressing myself through my primitive artistry my heart swells with the excitement and wonder to see what gifts are laid before me in the year come. I'll look forward to it and start my planning with great pleasure as this will be one spectacular year indeed. 2012!!! WOW!!!

Essential Pleasure Inc. is open and up and running.
Even though the weather has been cold and the snow is falling our shop has been busy with not only on lookers but buyers as well.
We are still in transition selling the last owners stuff as well as our own but we are making our own brands of soap, both natural and magical along with some other goodies on the metaphysical side. Herbs, oils and other natural substances have a long history of use in magick. Their natural energies have been experimented with for so many centuries that those who practice magickal art know almost intuitively what plants correspond best with energies of what magickal need. Always remember that the magick is not in the herb or the scent of the oil but in you, as you set your intention for it to be so. The herb acts as the catalyst to help you focus your energy and because it contains sympathetic energy, it helps you to channel that energy toward it's goal. In some cases the scent of the herb is alone, all that is needed and will provide the trigger for the magick. In our culture it is referred to as Aromatherapy. Aroma magick is created each time you use a particular scent or scent blend for a spell. For instance lavender promotes relaxation and calmness, jasmine is seductive, lemon is invigorating and so on. This is the basis for some really strong magick. The slightest whiff of sandalwood oil mentally transports me back to my earliest times of magick. As a whole we don't even realize that it is magickal if our mindset is not that of being magickal. People all over the world create magick everyday and don't realize the connection. Aromatherapy has proven it self as a very powerful tool and brings about natural healing through the senses aligning you with the universe to be in the flow. When we are in tune with our higher selves we are happy and heal.
You all know that I do healing Chakra meditations, well we are developing a soap for that purpose. It helps you to align your chakras. This soap will stimulate, open, cleanse and balance the chakras from root to crown.
So in moving towards that direction we are working on magickal soaps, bath salts, lotions, shampoos, hair conditioners, scrubs and soaks to mention a few.
We are looking forward to all our new productions and getting things under way. . .

Natural Soy Candles

Candles are a lovely way to illuminate your home with the soft flicker of candlelight. However, it’s important to choose only soy-based candles for several important reasons:
* Regular candles are made from petroleum-based paraffin and their fragrance is anchored and released with toxic chemicals. When you burn a paraffin candle, you’re filling your home with soot and harmful chemicals.
* Soy candles are completely non-toxic, and they burn cleaner and cooler than paraffin candles. Therefore, you won’t get the black soot residue from a soy candle. (Just make sure it’s a 100 percent soy candle, as soy/paraffin mix candles will create the black soot).
* The fragrance of soy candles are from natural essences and oils, without harmful chemicals. They don’t have the artificial scent like paraffin candles do. Soy candles’ fragrance also is stronger and so its aroma fills a greater amount of room space, compared to paraffin candles.
* Soy candles burn much slower than paraffin candles, so they’re a better value for your money.
* Paraffin candles have at least four known carcinogens in them, (Benzene; Carbon Tetrachloride; Trichloroethane; and Toluene), so when they’re burned, you’re spilling chemicals into the air that you breathe at home. There’s growing concern over pregnant mothers and young children breathing the fumes of paraffin candles.
* One expert on air safety said that burning a paraffin candle in your home is worse than running a diesel engine in your home!
You can find soy candles on Internet shops (just google soy candle) and at most Whole Food, health food, and metaphysical centers. Soy candles may be a bit more expensive, but since they burn much slower, you’ll save money in the long run. Look for non-GMO soy candles with cotton wicks, and you can also feel good that you’re supporting soy farmers in the process.

I'm so excited as I have manifested for this for quite some time now and to see it all come together is such an outstanding gift from the universe.
